WE LOVE BOOKS!!!!! We seriously can’t get enough. Flatten Me was for sure the topper on the cake!!! I about died when we received our Super Dad book for review!! It is adorned with So’s Daddys face on each page. It’s just precious and I can’t get over how sexy my Italian Mans Man looks cuddling a little dear and riding a horsey. The pictures totally crack us up!! Sophia squeals with delight as we read her this book. I know she will treasure it for years and years to come!!  bumGenius is another one of our favorites. What we love…they grow with our baby. I’m a big fan of the snaps. It makes for a perfect fit. What I love about bumGenius is you are able to adjust to where the most wetness occurs. That way I can fold the two VERY absorbent flaps in the direction that will work best for little sweet Sophia. At night they are positioned towards the back and we haven’t had any leaks (we used it last night, overnight, for the first time!) Another plus, they come in fun colors, I’m LOVING them all!! Not to mention the diaper shell is made of a polyester waterproof liner. These cloth diapers are made to fit babies from 7 to 35 lbs. You are able to adjust the size in the front with the three rows of snaps that can be closed or opened to create small, medium and large. Bonus: there are a ton of different versions of how you want the diaper to close, so there is really something for every cloth diapering “personality.”

This New England cold has not let up and we have been pounded with snow storm after snow storm. Not that I’m complaining…I’m one of those that love cozy nights in and yes after three months of it, it certainly gets old but then I know it will make me appreciate the spring and summer that much more. 

In the meantime we have found ways to incorporate certain luxuries in our lives that make this blistering cold seem not so bad. The Favorite BABY’S JOURNEY TOWEL WARMER!! The towel warmer can actual be used by everyone in the house, I have warmed up Ralphs hat and gloves before he went out in the storm, our pups love having their sweaters warmed up and Sophia LOVES having her towel warmed up after a warm bath. I always want to ensure her comfort and there is nothing better than a toasty towel on a winters night!

I put her hooded towel and her jammies in there… in about 8 minutes its toasty warm!!! It is also equipped with an auto shut off, so if I forget (I already have) I don’t have to worry!! Ralph loves that ;) He doesn’t have to “checkup” on me! I don’t know if it’s the aesthetician in me or the fact that I just liked to be pampered as well but I love putting my facial towels in there, by the time I’m done doing my nightly routine I have a super soft, warm towel to dry my face. The perfect ending to the night!
