I’ve really wanted to put thought behind everyone’s gifts this year!! My mom is a hairdresser and on her feet constantly so I knew she needed the gift of comfort and arch support insoles by Currex!! I couldn’t wait though… she’s been so busy running around getting everyone ready for the holiday I wanted to ease that burden on her feet! She absolutely LOVES her new everyday insoles!!! A charmingly personalized festive tale the whole family will adore. This book has all of our names in it...even the dogs! My girls LOVE the tale and giggle with glee when they see their names on the pages!

Busy Holidays and rested feet!!

 The Holidays are in FULL SWING!!! We have been slammed with holiday parties, family gatherings and getting in the holiday spirit! One thing I LOVE to have during the holiday season is coordinating outfits with my mini's! Though I struggle with my footwear because of not having proper arch support with insoles! They are always flat and painful, that was until I started using insoles from Currex!!!! Game changer!!

My Fabulous girl and life made easy!

We have been trying to think of ways to simplify our life! Ralph and I want to start focusing on our overall health and wellbeing! With kids we definitely want to step up with things like shopping for new clothes and try the new door delivery service! We are outside constantly, playing, biking, running... not without arch support though! It's been a game changer in our house!! We have insoles from Currex that a truly a dream come true! Especially now that Sophia has been loving all her Fab Kids sparkle boots…she loves to RUN in those things! We need to keep up!!

Kids Shoes and Mama's must have arch support insoles

The holidays are among us!!! The Thanksgiving décor has come down and we are in full holiday swing! With two kiddos and lots of family and friends we have to be Ready for all the events about to unfold! So relieved that Ralph and I have arch support insoles by Currex! 27 Things to do in this New Year!!!

How is it almost Christmas... how is it almost 2025!!! I'm determined to do some new things this year! Let's dive right in....

Plant your own vegetables.... get dirty!

Cherry Blossoms have bloomed, pick some! Or whatever is in season in your area!! 

Pack up your kids and the dog and due a walking trail. 

Go for a Picnic… pick somewhere scenic to have it! We love to go to waterfalls so we usually hike to those locations! 

Focus on your overall health. For me this means the ultimate foot dream for your feet, arch support insoles by Currex!!

Happy Feet & House Projects

 

     My husbands to do list at home has been, well, long! I have so many ideas... he can blame Pinterest for that! Recently I got him a gift of arch support insoles by Currex, after listening to him complain about foot pain for years! What a game changer! I swear he has been tackling my lists ever since!! Usually, he needs to put his feet up after work but that hasn't been the case since, he put those new insoles in!! I knew it was time to tackle my hall project! This area is a weird angle, and Ralph is the hanger of pictures in our home!

      I needed some serious design help in our home! It has been lacking a personal touch since we bought our house years ago! We have been BUSY to say the least, a house, wedding, dogs, new parents to now two little girls! Life is just about creating memories and enjoying the chaos! We are loving family life, and we are ready to put those memories on our walls but have been struggling on where to start! That's where CanvasHQ comes in!!        I placed my order, and my design was set to go, the quick turnaround time was outstanding! We were set to head to Florida, and I was bummed thinking I would not see the Canvas prints until we returned but they came so fast!!!

I was in love from the start...but to see it on my wall had me in tears! We were working with a huge open canvas so to say! The wall was completely blank and I had no clue how to turn it into a work of art...something that had meaning that we would cherish for years to come! I love that when people are in our home they are able to see this beautiful gallery wall but more importantly I love that this is something we get to enjoy every time we go downstairs in our home! It is a constant reminder of how important family truly is! So many beautiful memories captured on the most amazing high quality canvas artwork!!

My Husband had it hung up and ready in about ten minutes, of course with his favorite ladder haha!!! Yes, it was that quick!! It came with all the hardware and no hammer needed!!! Completely blown away! And you better believe he had on his arch support insoles from Currex!! He says it feels as though he is walking on air! Poor guy has been suffering with foot pain for years! It was like night and day once he put them in his shoes!! Disney Days, National Cheer Comps and lots of walking with arch support insoles!

 

NATIONALS week!!! The girls made it to nationals for cheer and are officially the top 5 in the COUNTRY!!!! How crazy is that!!!! They had an amazing time, but I probably walked a million steps! I'm absolutely certain I wouldn't have been able to do it without my everyday support insoles by Currex! Just the arena alone was a 12-hour day of standing and walking! This was day two as after 14 hour and tossed on my flops at the end, still no foot pain! Others did not make out well that day haha

We made it to day 2, Super Saturday!!! I honestly felt super organized through all the chaos! We brought the new Rebel Bag for all our cheer gear and shoes, and it was perfect!! Awards were an absolute party, and I loved bumping into old grade school friends!! I highly recommend getting to everything early, Florida traffic is no joke! We stayed at The Red Lion  in Kissimmee. It was about 15 minutes from our venue, so it worked out perfect! Day two we went to universal, and it was a busy day, no lie without arch support insoles I would have been limping back to the hotel! It was hours and hours of lines and walking! The girls loved The Hulk rollercoaster!! Lots of complaining about hurt feet though! Alot ended up in the hot tub by the end of the night for relief!! I also wear walking shoes wherever we go but the Currex arch support insoles was the relief and support my feet and body needed.

Gearing up for Fall in New England with Crocs with Socks

 We are officially kicking off the fall season! It always becomes a tough transition when it comes to clothes and shoes for my girls! They live in their crocs and some easy slip-ons! I always struggle getting them back in socks! I know I can't be the only one!! My girls hate wearing socks and honestly, I do not like the look of low-cut shoes with big ole socks!  The biggest issue with them not wearing socks, is their shoes will end up getting smelly!! Plus, sweaty feet cannot be comfortable. I know I should pick my battles, but I also despise the look of crocs with socks unless it is these Crocs with Socks...and by socks, I mean Flat Socks!!  I cringe when I have to force the girls to wear their Sperry's or other slip-on shoes with socks to avoid all the drama that follows because they do not have socks on.  I was ecstatic to hear about Flat Socks! They are an absolute dream for all these trending low cut shoes, whether they be crocs, boating shoes or even their sneakers, flat socks are absolutely genius!! They go in the bottom of your croc or shoe and are moisture wicking, so you don't have sweaty and smelly feet... they still allow your foot to breathe without the hideous look of wearing them with socks! My girls are obsessed with all the patterns they offer! I'm excited that their feet will not slip around in a sweaty croc while they are at school! BEST PART.... you can treat them like a regular sock! Just toss them in the wash for an easy clean! 

We go through a lot of boating shoes and slip on shoes in this house because once they get nasty inside, they are usually tossed in the trash! My husband loves that with Flat Socks we are able to double, even triple the life span of the girls' shoes (and mine)! It's a win win for all!! My favorite insert is the Taco 'Bout it design, but there are so many to choose from! With crazy weather in this area, it can be 70* one day and a crisp 60* the next day... I love that we have the option to have fluffy or more breathable inserts for our shoes! I've had so many mamas ask me how I know how to order the right size and the easiest way I do it, is order the insert and take the original insert out of the kids' shoe and trim them with scissors for the perfect custom fit! It literally takes me thirty seconds! If for whatever reason your shoe doesn't have and insert just flip over your Flat Sock and use the guide that is given on the back! It's seriously so easy!!

I'll have to share with you their Boo Buckets that will be, of course, filled with a bunch of Flat Socks... they had to have the dinosaur and pink camo!! Benny the Bull and his Favorite Bully Sticks

 We’ve officially had Benny for six months!!!! Owning a Frenchie has been “work”, in the world of pet health that we never had to deal with. Our other two dogs did not have food or environmental allergies. Allergies are for real for our little Frenchie! Food has been challenging and we have had a lot of trial and error. Ben is quick to develop hot spots and itchy paws when food does not agree with him! We have tried several brands and feel comfortable with his dry food. His snacks have been a different story… that was until we stumbled upon Bow Wow Labs. We needed a safe bully stick that would keep Ben entertained but did not cause an allergic skin reaction. A few things we were looking for was something with a single ingredient, and zero chemicals. It was just an added bonus that Bow Wow Labs offered all that plus grass fed and hormone free bully sticks! I loved how they have a sizing chart on their website, so you are getting the right size for your animal. Our puggle once choked on a Kong treat about 10 years ago and it still haunts me!! He was fine once it was dislodged but we needed days to shake off that scare!

Back to Bennys new favorite enrichment bully sticks!! There were so many additional bonuses when it came to finding this company! Most companies that offer subscriptions do not offer one-time purchases. Given Ben’s extreme allergies getting a subscription before seeing if our French bulldog was allergic, just wasn’t an option! This includes free shipping, 10% discount and the ease of knowing Ben has a scheduled delivery of his favorite goodies! We are BUSY with getting ready for back to school and sports! Not having to worry about running out to the store is a blessing! 

For food, we have finally settled on Nutro for Ben’s dry kibble. This was with tons of trial and error the past six months (we went through 5 different brands and one vet visit!) All in all, this seems to be Ben’s safe food that he enjoys and will not have allergies. I mean this pup is picky… even down to the harness he prefers. Which I highly recommend for anyone with short snout breeds of dogs! This has completely taken restriction off from around our little guy's neck and he breathes easy on his walks!!! Along with his awesome leash that took me about a week to decide on the pattern! I love them all!! 

I’d love to know what you all have used for seasonal allergies!! That is our next battle! Spring was the worst as far as sneezing and runny eyes. He was on Benadryl frequently during this time period and prescribed an ointment for under his eyes. Ben’s vet suggested we do an allergy shot come next spring. I’m nervous to do this option, although she said it’s common with Frenchie's. Have any of you given your dog the seasonal allergy shot? Did you find it helpful? 

Looking forward to a beautiful fall with our boy!! We have never seen him with the leaves and the girls are excited to see if he will attempt to jump in a leaf pile!!! I’m excited for family themed costumes… Sophia wants us to be scary like hers last year!!!!
