Black Friday

Get out your Running Shoes and Set those Alarms for 11PM.... BLACK FRIDAY is Here! The day after Thanksgiving - known as "Black Friday" - is one of the year's biggest shopping days! Every year I say that I'm going to sleep through it and as the hours creep up to the Madness I slowly start to get into it. As I started to research different Door Busters it was settled...I'm heading out into the Craziness. It took me a while to sort through where I needed to go and map out what to get...To make things easy for those of you who are still researching I've added a list of all the stores I know of and the Black Friday Ad!!

Don't forget to Charge your ipods and bring snacks...The lines are out of control and you need something to pass the time.

My 5 Tips for BLACK FRIDAY

 1. Do your Homework. The number 1 item on your list should be the store you are at first and Early!!
2. Go with someone...There is nothing worse then having to run to the restroom and having no one to save your spot in line.
3. Be Positive...You are going out on the Biggest Shopping day of the year, there will be lines, crazy people and a lot of waiting around. Nothings worse than having a bad attitude. So put a smile on your face and no what your getting yourself into.
4. Bring Snacks...After a long day of eating Turkey you will slowly fade into sleep mode unless you have fuel, so pack waters, protein bars and trail mix to keep you awake!!
5. Prioritize...In the mix of the madness you may forget what your even there for, have a list and if your doing all your shopping, map out the aisles. Nothing says Success like Organization.
HAPPY BLACK FRIDAY Y'ALL!!!!

{The Thankful Tree}

I Love bringing the Outdoors into my home, so when I saw this I had to make one of my own. All you need is a jar, sticks from your yard and colorful paper. It’s so simple yet makes a Beautiful center piece for your Thanksgiving table.

It’s called “ THE THANKFUL TREE” and how suiting. On each circle write something you are thankful for, if you are having guest over have blank circles in a dish next to the tree with a pen so they are able to write what they are thankful for. When Thanksgiving is over take the circles off the tree put them in a plastic baggie and save them for Next year…Over the years watch your tree grow and grow.

What I also found to be nice was in the years to come if certain people are unable to attend they are always able to be a part of Thanksgiving.

I will Post pictures of my Thankful tree soon…In the Process of constructing it…I also decided to use scrap booking card stock that was Thanksgiving themed to give it that little something extra.

Have a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Achieving the Perfect Eyebrow

Achieve the Perfect Brow without Going to the Salon

You’ll be amazed how finding your perfect arch and creating a nicely-opened eye area can change your appearance. You don’t need to be an esthetician to achieve the perfect brow. Our eyebrows are one of our most important facial features yet many women and men pay little attention to them. Let’s fix those eyebrows everyone…

Here’s how:

1. Look straight into the mirror. Hold a pencil vertically against one nostril. See where the pencil meets your brow? That's where your brow should start. Tweeze in the middle between there and the other brow. Start little by little, it took my years to grow my eyebrows in because I was famous for over plucking. You can always pluck more but you can’t put the hair back in!

2. Next, pluck only from beneath the brow and remove any obviously stray hairs.

3. To get the right arch, angle the pencil to the outer side of your pupil, with the eraser end at the side of your nostril, and the top just past the middle of your eye. The spot where the pencil hits the brow is where the top of the arch should be, about three-quarters of the way out. Create a line that tapers upwards to this point. Repeat on the other side.

4. Next, angle the pencil so it aligns with the outer corner of the eye. Where it hits the brow is where the eyebrow should end. At this point, it should taper slightly down.

5. Now, use your Brow & Pencil with very light, feathery strokes to fill in gaps along the entire brown line.

Also, if you have long brow hairs, trim them with manicure scissors to keep them looking neat. It’s a good idea to trim before you tweeze; it will help you see the natural shape of your brow and locate where individual hairs fall. Just take a little eyebrow brush and brush your eyebrow upward any hairs that are high, trim.
